The new eMap Platform Implementation Plan is current a WIP and in draft form. It has NOT been approved by the BFS Architecture Forum. The Data Governance principles and Data Lifecycle Management practices articulated in this document are a set of best practices to support the technical implementation of the new eMap Platform. The Data Governance principles and Data Lifecycle Management practices need to be updated to incorporate and align with the existing Departmental policies and practices in spatial data set management.
